Unique cabaret show, The Secret Circus is the heart and soul of all things weird and wonderful. It’s a showcase for alternative local and National talent that offers the unusual, the bizarre and the extraordinary. Every show is completely different, but will always contain plenty of music, comedy, burlesque and every kind of variety act in between. Open to all, The Secret Circus encourages diversity and open mindedness in every way.
Founded in 2014 by legendary Eve Howlett, The Queen of Heartbreak and Chanel Samson, Secret Circus LA, the team has expanded to include renowned artist, activist and singer, songwriter Beija Flo, infamous crazy clown Naffrodite and producer extraordinaire, the sexiest stage manager alive Sonia Chapman, Crystal Maisie.
The Secret Circus is known for pushing boundaries and sex positivity, with their annual festival style show at alternative lifestyle venue The Townhouse Club, Birkenhead. Somehow alongside this, it makes complete sense for The Secret Circus to be based at The Unitarian Church, Liverpool, with regular appearances in church services celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.
From space to farmyard to pride celebrations, the Circus offers many fun themed events and plenty of reasons to dress up. A haven for the wild, silly, experimental and as bright and beautiful as they come. Liverpool’s best, not so well kept secret!
