Mornington Tourist Railway is the only working heritage railway on the Mornington Peninsula.
In 1984, the Mornington Railway Preservation Society (MRPS) was formed as a not-for-profit organisation with a focus on heritage railroading through restoration, education and experience.
Located at Moorooduc, the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula, the Mornington Tourist Railway is a volunteer operated heritage railway that offers passengers a memorable journey on restored vintage passenger cars.
