Multiple Sclerosis is a lifelong chronic condition which impacts around 1,200 Aucklanders and their whānau. Although people can be diagnosed with MS any age, diagnosis most commonly occurs in the 30s age bracket. Therefore, MS is known as a ‘prime of life’ disease, as people are often mid-career and family-building when they receive their diagnosis. For sixty years, MS Auckland has worked in the community to provide individualised guidance, support and advocacy to people facing the challenges of MS. Every day, we are driven to help people with multiple sclerosis to live full lives.
