Muscular Dystrophy NSW (MDNSW) exists to empower, connect, and advocate for individuals living with neuromuscular conditions, as well as their families and caregivers. Our mission is to promote the rights, participation, and inclusion of people affected by neuromuscular conditions, ensuring they have access to essential information, support services, and opportunities to enhance their quality of life.
MDNSW offers specialised services such as support coordination, capacity-building camps, respite retreats, and peer support programs tailored to address the unique needs of individuals living with neuromuscular conditions.
MDNSW believes that every individual affected by neuromuscular conditions deserves the opportunity to lead a fulfilling life in a connected and supportive community. We envision an inclusive Australia where people with neuromuscular conditions are not only supported but empowered to advocate for themselves.
MDNSW is committed to breaking down barriers, building resilience, and replacing isolation with opportunities for growth, connection, and fulfillment, making a meaningful impact on the lives of the neuromuscular community in New South Wales.
