As a non-profit organisation with a community focus, Music for Canberra has programs to suit everyone and encourages people of any age (from 18 months old in our ‘Music Play’ groups), any ability (including ‘Mixed Ability’ music & drumming groups for people living with a disability) and any background to take up an instrument or singing and experience the benefits and wellbeing music can bring to your life.
Music for Canberra offers a variety of different programs for people of all abilities. We offer group instrumental tuition, as well as the opportunity to take part in an ensemble. We have choirs for children as well as an orchestra program that includes the Canberra Youth Orchestra. We also offer mixed ability classes to those living with a disability.
