I began my journey with Young Living in October 2003 after spending three days in training with founder Gary Young. That experience opened the door to a path that has now spanned more than two decades of study, travel, teaching, and community building in the field of aromatherapy.
Over the years I continued learning through numerous trainings and courses, including becoming a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist through the ISHA Institute of Spiritual Healing Inc. I have also had the opportunity to teach aromatherapy certification programs for veterinarians, focusing on creating healthy environments in veterinary clinics—from examining rooms to treatment areas—using responsible essential oil practices.
A meaningful part of my journey has included visiting several Young Living farms, including three in the United States, and traveling with hundreds of members of the Young Living community. Seeing how oils are grown, distilled, and produced has deepened my appreciation for the plants and people behind them.
My monthly aromatherapy gatherings are designed as welcoming educational spaces where participants can learn about essential oils, responsible use, and the broader philosophy behind Young Living. We also explore aspects of the Young Living business, share experiences from the farms, and discuss ways essential oils can support everyday wellness and environment in our homes.
Because of regulatory guidelines, these events focus on education and personal experience rather than medical discussion. At times we may pause recordings during Zoom sessions for off-record conversations so that we can remain compliant while still supporting open discussion.
Occasionally I offer giveaways such as essential oils and educational resources as a way to celebrate and thank participants for being part of the community.
This journey began when I was 59 years old, and it has been one of the most remarkable chapters of my life. My hope is to share what I have learned, encourage others to continue learning, and create a legacy of knowledge, respect for plants, and supportive community for future generations.
