I am passionate about education, enriching the lives of others, health, well-being and all things outdoors and creative.
I am the founder of Active Art, a business that began in Melbourne as a holistic art and wellbeing program for pre-school children. Moving to the South Coast gave me the opportunity to offer tailored workshops to all community members, varying in themes and art mediums as our children started their schooling.
I am an Art Therapist, Educator and Behaviour Specialist.
Art Active Art offers individual Art Therapy for NDIS and non-NDIS clients (all ages).
I love all art; from painting to sketching, photography, lino-printing, clay, sewing, the written word and music. I strongly believe in the benefits of using art as a therapeutic tool. I have seen first-hand the impact art can have with children and adults from mixed backgrounds, cultures, ability levels, ESL, disabilities and trauma. When combining mindfulness and well-being into workshops, programs and individual sessions, art can be used, felt and explored by all individuals regardless of skill level and experience.
I am passionate about working in and around the community I live. I share this passion through my business, Active Art. It is here that those around me can feel empowered, connected and have the confidence to explore and challenge themselves.
