Neuromuscular WA is a small, for-purpose organisation supporting those living with neuromuscular conditions in Western Australia.
We are a leader in our field and collaborate on a national level to achieve and maximise quality of life, happiness and wellbeing for our community and pride ourselves on being a sustainable, reliable charity that has never wavered in its mission of supporting everyone impacted by neuromuscular conditions in WA.
Since our inception in 1967 we’ve flexed our services in line with our community’s needs, offering support across:

ADVOCACY to achieve equal access and rights.
EMPOWER GRANTS for financial assistance to live life at its best.
EDUCATION SESSIONS to inform our members, their families and those who support them.
EQUIPMENT including cough assist machines that aid in inhaling and exhaling to avoid severe illness.
These services underpin any medical care they are already receiving and are just as crucial as our continued investment in research into innovative therapies and clinical care. It’s what we call Support for Life as we aim to provide this for as long as we’re needed.
