Holding space for your life force energy to flow, for your whole being to feel nurtured and for your Soul to grow in alignment with your highest evolution.
New Earth Yoga was born as a creative expression of who I am, my journey and what I now have to offer.
My offerings encompass a tapestry of yoga, somatic movement, and embodied wisdom. Yoga classes are delivered in a way that provides time, space, and rhythm for the emergence of this innate wisdom. This mindful pace promotes our sixth sense of interoception – our innate ability to discover, interpret, and respond to the whispers of our inner landscape.
I support busy moms and women seeking to restore the healthy functioning of their core and pelvis. Through a tapestry of therapeutic yoga, breathwork and somatic movement, you are guided to move your body with intention and purpose. The class is gentle, trauma-informed and suitable for every body.
Yin and Restorative yoga classes are designed to restore the nervous system. In a fast-paced world, this space is held to surrender, breathe, and come home to ourselves. From here, we can enter our more masculine selves with greater strength and resiliency.
Prenatal classes offer moms-to-be a time to connect with yourself and your baby, learning mindful techniques that result in a confident and fearless birth. These classes will guide you through gentle movements and breathwork that benefit both mom and baby during pregnancy and birth. Through the use of repetitive and sweeping movements, we can effectively access the lymphatic nodes and fascia. Lymph is well known for removing toxins from the bloodstream, thereby supporting an optimally functioning immune system during pregnancy. Our nervous system is deeply embedded in fascia. When we move with intention to release tension here, we can support the parasympathic nervous system needed during the dilation and release phases during birth. You will also be given the tools to ease the common discomforts that can accompany pregnancy. Our primary focus is to balance and stabilise the pelvis, aka the "central hub" of the body. When the pelvis is aligned, this creates ripple effects to a healthy functioning spine and lower body.
