North Canterbury Youth Futures exists to create a sustainable partnership between educational providers, employers, local and central government agencies that deliver clear and sustainable pathways from education to employment. The overarching strategic objective is to increase the supply of skilled and talented young people from education into employment that meets the employment demands of industry sectors throughout the region.
The North Canterbury Youth Futures team is made up with the support or representation of members from Waimakariri District Council, Hurunui District Council, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social Development, Comcol, Rangiora High School, Enterprise North Canterbury, and local North Canterbury high schools.
