The Top of the South Branch of the New Zealand Society of Authors (NZSA) represents all NZSA members who live in the Top of the South - including Marlborough, Nelson, Tasman and Buller.
Our role is both to represent the NZSA in Te Tauihu, the Top of the South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand, and to support and encourage branch members in all genres of writing, to foster social and creative contacts and to offer information and advice on matters relevant to writing.
To this end, we: produce a regular newsletter announcing upcoming events of interest to members organise and run the annual Te Tauihu Short Story Awards offer funding support to writing groups in the region organise and support occasional writing workshops.
