Ko wai au? Who am I?
Ko Ōriwa Clark tōku ingoa. He uri au nō ngā pārai o Tūranganui-a-Kiwa. He kāwai whakaheke ō ngā iwi ō Ngāti Porou, Te Aitanga-ā-Māhaki, Ngāti Kahungungu me Rongowhakaata.
My name is Olive Clark and I am a descendant of the Gisborne region located on the East Coast of New Zealand. I come from the tribal ancestral lines of Ngāti Porou, Te Aitanga-ā-Māhaki, Ngāti Kahungungu and Rongowhakaata.
I currently live in Nipaluna, Lutruwita (Hobart, Tasmania) and enjoy being an active homeschooling mum & Mauri Practitioner. I support people to reconnect with their mauri (life force) through traditional Māori healing practices, language and connection to the natural environment. When our mauri is strong, we experience synergy within our body, mind and spirit which naturally radiates outward, nurturing the relationships, communities and environment surrounding us. My aim is to create welcoming and accessible spaces for intergenerational learning and healing, supporting people of all backgrounds within our community while honouring our deep connection to Earth Mother and Sky Father.
