Olivia Ruggiero developed a love of performing at an early age, undertaking many creative studies including piano, trumpet, drama and singing. She completed her singing exams with Trinity Guildhall at age 17 and her drama exams with Trinity Guildhall at age 16. She received a Diploma in World Theatre and a Diploma in Musical Theatre from IMEB in 2014.
Olivia graduated from Griffith University at Queensland Conservatorium of Music (QCM) with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre in 2017. In 2022 her one-woman show “Puppets” premiered at KXT before touring to The Butterfly Club in Melbourne, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Bondi Pavilion. Olivia’s new work “Broadway Diva” will premiere at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2023. Olivia is a Broadway World Award winning performer. In 2020 she directed and musical directed “Into the Woods Jr.”, in 2021 she directed and choreographed “Aladdin Jr.”. She was the director, musical director and co-choreographer of “Shrek Jr.” in 2022.
