Welcome to One World Animals
One World Animals is a dedicated, small organisation licensed by Richmond upon Thames Council (Licence No: 49680) to rescue and care for small exotic creatures.
Backed by a passionate team with 20 years of expertise in wildlife education, we provide safe, permanent homes to a diverse family of rescued animals.
To fund the high standard of care, specialized habitats, and food our residents require, we host fully hands-on, expert-led, public and private animal encounters. In these sessions, our animals act as true ambassadors for their species, capturing the hearts and minds of audiences across West London and the surrounding counties.
Our Mission: Celebrating the "Less Glamorous"
We aim to inspire people to care for the smaller, less glamorous, and often misunderstood animals with whom we share our planet. From creepy crawlies (insects and arachnids) to reptiles (snakes, lizards and tortoises), frogs, small mammals, and birds—every single one of these creatures is vital to the health and biodiversity of our global ecosystems.
Our core philosophy is simple: by learning to value and protect these small creatures, we naturally preserve the larger natural habitats that support all wildlife.
What We Do: We bring once-in-a-lifetime, up-close wildlife experiences directly into classrooms, homes, and community events.
Birthday Parties: Immersive, memory-making encounters tailored for all ages, from toddlers to grandparents.
School & Educational Visits: Structured sessions mapped to the KS2 through KS5 curriculum, covering adaptation, food chains, classification, and conservation.
Public & Holiday Events: Ticketed seasonal workshops hosted in local community spaces with ticket sales through Humanitix.
Uncompromising Animal Welfare
The well-being of our animals always comes first. Highly praised by our community and holding a 4.9/5 TrustScore on Trustpilot, we maintain strict welfare policies. Our animals only participate in structured, timed encounters to prevent stress, and our team ensures that every child and adult learns how to interact with them safely, calmly, and respectfully.
