The Open Access Publishing Association was founded in 2023 to challenge the current model of publishing. Founding members of OAPA established the association in defiance of a pay-to-publish and pay-to-read model in favour of open science.
Members have access to our Seminar Series, led by Director of Memberships, Dr Elizabeth J. Cook (Edith Cowan University, Australia). The series is designed to include high-interest topics presented by international authors with high credibility. Topic discussions will have a strong focus on implications for and applications to academic practice.
