Orbis is a small, off grid, award winning winery and vineyard located in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Focusing on regenerative agriculture and awarded for our approach to carbon net zero, Orbis is undergoing organic and biodynamic conversion. Our flock of Baby Doll sheep and roaming chickens graze year round under raised 1.3m cordons. Selected for the McLaren Vale climate, our estate grown alternative varietals include Albariño. Fiano, Gargenaga, Trousseau, Cinsault, Grenache, Nero d'Avola, Montepulciano as well as our 50 year old Shiraz and Tempranillo. Following handpicking, our winemaking style is minimal intervention, with low sulphur additions showing a true sense of place and terroir. Bottled under cork. Winemaker - Verity Cowley.
