OVIS Community Services is the primary provider of family and domestic violence (FDV) services in the Peel region. Our comprehensive range of services includes the Pat Thomas Refuge, Warlang Bidi Therapeutic Program, Pinjarra Women's Centre, Transitional Housing, and Community & Outreach programs. We are dedicated to supporting women and children affected by FDV across the region through our residential and community-based services. OVIS’s support includes FDV advocacy, brief intervention, court support, case management, and counselling. In addition, OVIS runs several education programs, such as Community Response Training, Safe Futures, and Freedom to Flourish, aimed at raising awareness and empowering the community. Each year, OVIS provides essential support to over 1,200 women and more than 3,000 children across the Peel region.
