Patio de Tango is a tango school in Sydney established in 2001. It has organised regular weekly and monthly tango events in Sydney since then.
It also has close ties to the tango community in the Illawarra Shoalhaven region.
The founder Pedro Alvarez is an Argentinean who spent his childhood and early adult years in Buenos Aires immersed in tango, the music, dance and culture.
He is the Australian Tango Champion.
