Paul Gadsby is a passionate botanist and educator with over 25 years of experience studying Australia’s native flora.
Currently, Paul teaches Conservation and Ecosystem Management at TAFE NSW, where he shares his deep knowledge of native vegetation with the next generation of land managers and conservationists.
Combining his love of botany with education, photography, and fieldwork, Paul is also the author of several upcoming native plant identification books. He regularly runs engaging botany workshops, including sessions focused on Eucalypt identification and vegetation community classification.
Whether he’s in the classroom, leading a survey, or exploring the bush on a weekend hike, Paul is driven by a lifelong curiosity and respect for Australia’s unique natural landscapes
