Penelope is a Filipino Australian cis woman currently residing on lands of the Bunurong People of the Kulin Nation. She is a PhD Candidate at the University of Tasmania and her topic is Learning from newly arrived transnational health workers about their experiences working in the Australian Health Care System. Alongside her PhD, Penelope is the project manager supporting Dr Alana Gall, Vice President (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) for the First Nations Collective Co Design project at the Public Health Association of Australia. She also is the volunteer research advisor for Wingaru Education.
