Phil has been on the path of healing and seeking truth ever since a near death experience when he was 18. Having experienced a full blown heat stroke running 10 miles in a half-marathon in the Boston area on a hot day in August, he discovered some profound truths. When the ambulance picked him up his temperature was 109, his heart wasn’t beating and his lungs were not breathing. He found himself in that sweet space we often hear about with others having a similar experience where we just didn’t want to come back.

The love and light and deep awareness of truth were so profound that fear was seen as a complete illusion. Being a drop of water put into the Ocean, then becoming the Ocean. The Presence that was with him told him it wasn’t his time yet but he could stay and not be judged if he so desired. He decided to trust that Presence and came back. A short time later he found himself in recovery from teenage alcoholism and have had multiple decades of freedom from addiction.
