Phoebe Thompson is an artist, poet, curator, and producer living on unceded Boon Wurrung land.
They graduated from the Bachelor of Fine Arts at RMIT, and currently work at RMIT Creative as a Senior Associate Creative Producer. They were recently a finalist in the My Brother Jack Awards, and their work has been published in Voiceworks, Soft Quarterly, Interior Journal, Et Cetera, and others. They have presented artwork in collaboration with organisations such as SIGNAL, Midsumma, City of Melbourne, City of Greater Dandenong, RMIT University, Deakin University, Chisholm TAFE, CAST, Platform Arts, and Connection Arts Space.
Their multi-disciplinary practice is concerned with ecology and sustainability, gender and personal identity, and the built and existing environment, whilst placing value on process, sentimentality, and connection. To them, poetry is a backbone & a revelation
