Phoenix Support & Advocacy Service Inc. (Phoenix) is a Western Australian not‑for‑profit organisation established in 1978. For more than four decades, Phoenix has provided specialist, low cost, long‑term, trauma‑informed counselling and advocacy services to adult survivors of child sexual abuse and to non‑offending family members.
Phoenix was founded in response to a longstanding service gap for adults who experienced sexual abuse in childhood, particularly intra‑familial abuse. Our practice recognises that the impacts of child sexual abuse are often lifelong, cumulative, and non‑linear, and that recovery requires sustained, specialist therapeutic relationships rather than short‑term or crisis‑only interventions.
