ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
My name is Piotr Sikora, a Polish clown and comedian with a passion for exploring the rich world of clowning and physical comedy. My journey has led me to create the original, award-winning comedy show Furiozo: Man Looking For Trouble. In 2024, Furiozo earned “The Besties” award at the Edinburgh Fringe and was nominated for the Comedians Choice Award for Best Show in both 2023 and 2024, it also made it to the Guardian's list of Best Comedy Shows 2024.
My workshops are built on techniques I’ve gathered from theater schools across the globe, from Los Angeles to Paris and San Miniato. I’ve trained intensively in physical theater at institutions like Mask Movement Atelier and The School for Theater Creators, under the mentorship of teachers such as Paola Coletto and Matteo Destro. I studied clown with Aitor Basauri, Philippe Gaulier, Mick Barnfather, Dr. Brown, and Angela de Castro. My improvisation skills come from years of practice with my teams and training at world-renowned schools including iO, The Groundlings, and The Annoyance.
Based in London, I bring my work to major comedy festivals worldwide—Edinburgh, Adelaide, Melbourne, Mumbai, Paris, New York, and beyond. In addition to performing internationally, I’m also a proud member of Klancyk, Poland’s oldest improv theater, and Hofesinka.
That said, my biggest passion is staying at home under a warm blanket, playing my Nintendo Switch.
