Rabbi David Cohen-Henriquez is a rabbi, educator, and spiritual guide whose journey reflects a rich tapestry of multicultural experiences and a deep commitment to fostering meaningful Jewish learning and community. Born and raised in Panama City, Panama, Rabbi David was shaped by the diversity of his upbringing and his engagement with both traditional and progressive Jewish practices. He attended the Albert Einstein Institute, a traditional Jewish day school, while also being part of a Reform congregation, Kol Shearith Israel. This unique combination of influences gave him a broad perspective on Jewish observance and a deep appreciation for the full spectrum of Jewish life.

Ordained at the Hebrew College Rabbinical School in Boston, Rabbi David's approach to Judaism is multi-denominational, drawing from a wide range of Jewish traditions and practices. Over the years, he has served in Jewish communities across New Hampshire, Panama, Los Angeles, Massachusetts, and Florida, bringing his passion for Jewish education and spiritual guidance wherever he goes. His path within the Conservative movement reflects his belief in the relevance of tradition while embracing the vitality of Jewish life in the modern world.

Rabbi David is driven by the vision of creating vibrant, inclusive Jewish communities where individuals of all backgrounds can find meaningful ways to connect to their heritage. He believes that Torah is a living conversation, offering wisdom and insight that can guide people in every aspect of their lives. Rabbi David is dedicated to helping others explore their spiritual journeys, build connections to their faith, and create meaningful Jewish experiences.

Fluent in four languages—English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Hebrew—Rabbi David enjoys connecting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and helping them navigate their personal paths. Outside of his rabbinic work, he is an avid reader with a particular fondness for graphic novels and British detective shows. Rabbi David is married to his best friend and partner, Cynthia, and together they are raising three children, a dog, and a cat.
