Red Lanterns Haus is a POC queer‑led production haus based on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country (Canberra, ACT). We create space for stories that deserve to be seen, heard, and honoured; holding culture, community, and creativity at the centre of everything we do. Our work spans pole, drag, burlesque, cabaret, dance, and multidisciplinary performance, uplifting POC, queer, trans, migrant, SWer, and culturally diverse artists.
We build safer, culturally grounded spaces where bold, authentic storytelling can thrive. Our mission is to ensure artists, especially those from marginalised communities, have platforms, support, and opportunities to shine. Guided by community care, representation, creativity, safety, and collaboration, we work with intention and hold space with respect.
Born from the glow of community, Red Lanterns Haus carries the symbolism of the lantern, a light that protects, welcomes, and guides. This Haus is a home for creativity, a stage for truth, and a gathering place for artists rising in their power.
