Hi, I’m Alexa — founder and lead guide at Restored in Nature.
I’m a certified Forest Therapy Guide with the International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance (INFTA), with a PhD in cancer research and over 18 years' experience translating complex science into meaningful public engagement — through workshops, events, and educational programs.
Curiosity, clarity, and connection have always guided my work — and nature has always been the place I return to for balance and perspective. From coastal walks and woodland trails to sunrise swims, nature is where I feel most present, calm, and alive.
Restored in Nature brings together my background in science communication with my passion for guiding others through immersive, sensory-based nature experiences. I create gentle, welcoming spaces for people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience the proven mental and physical benefits of being in nature.
Each walk is unique — shaped by the land, the season, and those who join. Whether you’re looking for calm, clarity, or simply a deeper connection with the natural world, you’re warmly invited to walk with me.
Let’s slow down, connect, and explore the beauty and healing power of nature together.
