I am passionate about connecting people across cultural distance and racial difference, integrating mind and body, science and art, or healing and change-making. I know that the confluence of two streams will always produce turbulence, and then a more powerful river. I am a White woman who teaches other white folks to navigate this turbulence by bringing their settled bodies, open hearts and listening ears.
I’m dedicated to restoring wholeness to our common culture that heals and upholds us all - me, my Indigenous, Black and racialized colleagues, students and friends, my White community members, and even people who think I’m “playing for the wrong team.”
Because when we’re talking about wholeness, there are no teams to be picked.
