Roger Groom is a Perth astrophotographer with 25 years experience across a diverse range of astrophotography subjects. Roger has been active in the WA astronomy community with roles including Chairperson of the Perth Observatory Volunteer Group and coordinator of dark sky events with Astronomical Society of Western Australia and other organisations. Roger has been curator of the 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Astrofest Astrophotography Exhibition. Through is business Astro Photography Australia, Roger runs astrophotography workshops, enabling others to enjoy the night sky through photography.
