Running Out of Nuns is an unapologetically rough and pleasantly chaotic rock-punk 3-piece outfit from Perth. With face-melting guitar solos, inappropriately comfortable vocals and lyrics, and dynamic drumming, their music blends the sounds of The Chats, Viagra Boys, Last Quokka, QOTSA, Audioslave, Nirvana, and A Swayze & The Ghosts.
Kicking around Perth playing various venues, film premieres and house parties, sharing drunk tales and warning people of a possible pelican scourge, the group have crafted their music and performances to entertain and deliver short and snappy songs.
The band released their debut single ‘Monsters’, with a sold-out show at Bar 459 and solid local radio support from RTRFM and 107.3 FM. They also released ‘Japanese Toothpaste’, partnered with a film clip and a feature show with RAGE ’s national tour.
Their new single 'Frank Blackmore' is out soon.
