This community event is brought to you by Newcastle-based psychologists Sage Perspectives and Greygum Psychology with the support of the following partners.
About Sage Perspectives
Sage Perspectives is a Newcastle and Telehealth clinic specialising in tailored EMDR therapy or adults navigating difficult life experiences (i.e. stress, life transitions, victims of abuse, grief and loss, migration and resettlement). It is a space to help individuals make sense of their lives, how experiences are held in the nervous system, and how change can occur without pathologising or forcing insight. The space is collaborative, paced, and attentive to meaning — the opening where feelings can be felt without being reduced, voices are heard without being minimised, and psychological care remains human and holistic.

About CIRN (Critical Incident Response Network)
The Critical Incident Response Network (CIRN) is an independent, clinician-led humanitarian network providing early mental health stabilisation and psychosocial support following critical incidents, disasters, and community trauma.
CIRN brings together trained helpers to deliver evidence-informed, culturally responsive group and individual interventions, with a strong focus on normalising early trauma responses, nervous system regulation, and community recovery. Our work sits between Psychological First Aid and longer-term trauma therapy, and is guided by ethical governance, clinician wellbeing, and stepped-care principles.
CIRN operates independently of professional associations and institutions, while collaborating respectfully with community leaders, organisations, and services to ensure coordinated, safe, and timely support where it is most needed.
