Sam is an experienced CEO with a passion for sustainability, innovation, and disruptive scalable technologies. He has led the transformation of Pacific Biotechnologies Australia from a research group to a leading circular economy organisation, with businesses in wastewater treatment (RegenAqua), world-first green biostimulant technology (PlantJuice) and most recently cost-effective solutions for biofuels (Pacific Bio Energy).
Sam has worked across global markets and prior to joining Pacific Bio, led the management buyout of Axieo (now owned by DKSH) a leading Australasian manufacturer and importer of functional products for the food, life sciences and agriculture sectors. Sam has served as President of Chemistry Australia and was also the Australasian President of Nuplex (NPX:ASX). Prior to this, he held senior executive roles with Orica and Dulux Group and spent a number of years based in the Philippines.
Sam has built a highly engaged workforce in every organisation he has worked, producing great results for the business, its customers, and shareholders. He has also completed several successful mergers and acquisitions and has served on multiple boards as a non-executive director for over 20 years.
