We need you. Logging has started in Bulga State Forest on Biripi country just down the road from our home.
Please join us at the campgrounds at Ellenborough Falls in Elands, so we can permanently Save Bulga State Forest on Biripi country. Please tell everyone you know to come and join us when they can.
If you want to join an action, best come to camp to find out more and be involved with what may be arising. You can also share your phone number with us and we’ll try to get one of our hard working volunteers to call you soon.
The action by the community here in Bulga Forest has so far forced Forestry Corporation to temporarily delay their plans to destroy the Bulga forest. This is a small win, however they are logging a nearby “plantation” forest, and have given no guarantee that they won’t switch back to the native forest at any time.
So come if you can and stand with us. We are a small community and really need your solidarity.
If you can’t come in person, amplify our voice, share our posts, contact politicians, check out @SaveBulgaForest on Facebook, www.savebulgaforest.org or email bulgaforest@gmail.com for more info.
Directions are simple: Search for Ellenborough Falls, it’s on Tourist Route 8 if you’re coming from the Pacific Highway.

What do we want?
TO PERMANENTLY SAVE BULGA FOREST!
NSW Forestry must permanently cease logging operations in Compartments 41 & 43 and add these to compartments to Biriwal Bulga National Park.
TO END ALL NATIVE FOREST LOGGING IN NSW
We are calling on politicians to commit to this ahead of NSW election in March.
MAJOR RECONSIDERATIONS OF FORESTRY PRACTICES IN NSW to actually be genuinely ecologically sustainable in current environmental/climate context.
