Across Australia, schools, communities, and organisations are finding
innovative ways to ensure every child has access to nutritious food at
school. The inaugural National Food in Schools Summit brings together
leaders, organisations, practitioners, policymakers, and researchers to
explore how collaboration and partnership create stronger, more
sustainable food programs that support student health, wellbeing and
learning.
Hosted in Tasmania by School Food Matters, in collaboration with
Federation of Canteens in Schools this forum will highlight the power of
working together — from government and education sectors to community
organisations, producers, and food service operators — to build a cohesive
national discussion around food in schools.
Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive
workshops, participants will share insights, celebrate successes, and
identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships across regions and
sectors.
Join us in Tasmania to connect, collaborate, and contribute to a national
conversation about the future of food in schools — where shared goals,
and collaboration are the key ingredients for success.
