What we’re about

Are you involved in SEO or PPC as part of your work in New Zealand? Whether you’re a dedicated specialist, a generalist marketer, or a business owner managing your own campaigns, we’d love to help you stay on top of the ever-changing world of search marketing, connect with like-minded peers, and uncover new opportunities in the digital marketing industry.

Welcome to the Search Marketing Network. We’re currently based in Christchurch, with plans to bring our events to a city near you soon.

Our Purpose

We’re a friendly community of search marketers, paid search specialists, and marketing professionals from across New Zealand, focused on sharing knowledge, building connections, and supporting one another in this fast-moving field. Whether you’re part of an agency, work in-house, or run your own business, this group provides a supportive environment to discuss challenges, keep track of industry trends, exchange client management tips, and collaborate on projects.

We stay informed about the latest search engine algorithm updates and best practices to help each other thrive. But our events aren’t just about business. We value networking and collaboration in a relaxed, welcoming setting where everyone feels comfortable learning and contributing.

Who Should Join?

If SEO or PPC features in your day-to-day work, this group is for you. We welcome dedicated specialists, marketing generalists, freelancers, agency teams, and business owners alike. Anyone with an interest in search marketing who wants to learn, share experiences, and connect with others in the industry will find a place here.

Why Join?

New Zealand’s digital marketing scene is growing fast, and we want our members to stay ahead of the curve. By joining, you can broaden your professional network, discover emerging trends, and explore potential opportunities. You’ll also be able to contribute your own insights and expertise, helping to strengthen the digital marketing community.

Our social meetups offer a relaxed atmosphere where you can chat with fellow marketers, share practical advice, and become part of a supportive national network. In 2026, we’ll also be hosting speaking events, giving members the opportunity to hear from industry experts and explore new ideas together.

We’re always happy to welcome new members and look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event. Join the Search Marketing Network and become part of our growing community.
