Seed is building a movement led by and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people to protect our Country, culture, and communities from the causes and impacts of climate change.
Our vision is for a strong and connected network of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people who are empowered and leading the fight for climate justice. We will work to secure a permanent nationwide ban on fracking, starting with state and territory bans, beginning in the Kimberley.
We will maintain non-partisan support for a just transition away from fossil fuels and will demand investment into First Nations-led climate solutions, ensuring Indigenous leadership will be key in shaping the future of climate action.
We will work with and advocate for frontline communities to be properly resourced for climate adaptation, mitigation, and preparedness, prioritising Northern Australia.
