I am a mum, a kids drama teacher, a wife, a poet, a lover of life! I am very blessed to call Mullumbimby my home and my community. I am surrounded by kick-ass awesome women who support and inspire me everyday - and I strive to do the same for them. I love to write, but writing my own Bio weirds me out - because I am ever evolving, always learning and a beginner at everything.
This year I turn 40 and I have decided to throw a party! But this party is not for me, its for you, It's for us, It's for women everywhere. A celebration of everything! To be honest I have never done anything like this before. But I felt so inspired whilst dancing in my hallway to a heavy, techno banger, and decided, WE NEED THIS!
We need a place to dance - no ceremony, no rules! Just straight up, unfiltered, JOYFUL DANCE! To music that moves us - not just physically - music that moves you through the decades and memories of our lives. The cringe moments, memories of old boyfriends, dancing in your teen bedroom, hens night, wedding night, breakups, all of the moments. Because that's what music does - it weaves through us, stitching us together one beat at a time!
This dance floor is WOMEN ONLY, the holders of memories, the weavers of time. Our dance floor is judgement free, a space of love, belly laughs and your wildest moves!
Tickets for this event are as low as I can keep them, my intention it to cover costs and anything over that will be distributed amongst the amazing women who made this happen.
