Shimmy in the Glen

Shimmy in the Glen are a dance group in Glen Innes, NSW.  We dance a range of styles often collectively referred to as 'bellydance' including raqs sharqi, folkloric and character dances of the Middle East and fusion pieces.  We regularly dance at community events and attend dance festivals.  Once a year, we host DANCE CREATE EVOLVE, an event that brings together dancers to learn, perform and socialise.  The event includes a workshop from our special guest during the day and an evening of dance featuring that special guest.
