The Student Incentive Program (SIP) is a small committee of seven individuals who recognised the importance of ensuring that every child in our community has access to the same educational opportunities. Our initiative aims to provide meaningful support to local primary school students by funding essential school expenses including, but not limited to, uniforms, stationery, and excursions until the end of Year 6.
The SIP enables students to participate fully in all school activities alongside their peers, building confidence and opening doors that might otherwise remain closed. Our support provides children with dignity and the reassurance that their community values their education and believes in their potential. The experiences students have during their school years play a crucial role in shaping how they see themselves and their future. By enhancing their school experience, we help foster a positive outlook on learning and life, empowering them to make meaningful contributions to society as they grow.
The SIP has made significant progress over the past four years. In our first year, we were able to support four students, and that number doubled within 12 months. As we enter our fourth year, we are proud to report that we are on track to achieve our goal of supporting 25 students in 2025 across the following schools:
