The University of Newcastle SMART Program
(Science, Mathematics, And Real Technology)
The SMART Program creates and delivers exciting Science Shows, and hands-on STEM* Workshops.
Established by the University of Newcastle in 1998, SMART is a not-for-profit initiative of the College of Engineering, Science and Environment (CESE).
Our shows and workshops are delivered in schools, at community venues, and on campus at the University of Newcastle.
Each school term we offer a 6-week after-school STEM Club workshop which includes hands-on learning covering topics to deepen students understanding of various STEM disciplines.
