The University of Newcastle SMART Program
(Science, Mathematics And Real Technology)
The SMART Program creates and delivers exciting Science Shows, and hands-on STEM workshops.
Established by the University of Newcastle in 1998, SMART is a not-for-profit initiative of the College of Engineering, Science and Environment (CESE).
Our shows and workshops are delivered in schools, at community venues, and on campus at the University of Newcastle.
Each school term we offer an after-school STEM Club, which is a series of hands-on workshops covering topics that deepen students' understanding of various STEM subjects.
