Smart Pups is a not-for-profit organisation based in the Sunshine Coast, dedicated to the training and placing of assistance dogs with children who have autism, epilepsy, diabetes and mobility conditions.
Our Smart Pups act as a bridge between each child and the outside world as they boost a child's confidence, enhance vocabulary, reduce anxiety, prevent meltdowns and improve sleep patterns. They can alert guardians to seizures up to 10 minutes before they occur and detect low blood sugar in children with diabetic concerns as well as assist children with mobility concerns to open doors, pick up dropped objects and more.
These pups provide a life-saving and life-changing benefit to the child and their family.
