The Snow Sisters started with a small group of 6 ladies going out for dinner on the last Thursday of the school holidays and grew each year. Three imaginative and giving women, Sonia Evans, Sandra Maier and Suzanne Rumble created Snow Sisters, with a purpose in mind - to raise funds to help others enjoy Mt Buller as much as they did. This has now grown into an annual dinner, held on the mountain each year, where funds are raised for important charities.
Snow Sisters believe it is important that the women that visit Mt Buller have the opportunity to make friends, feel a part of the community and never need to ski alone. They promote an inclusive atmosphere, creating new friendships which allows support, families to meet, advice and much more.
This year, Snow Sisters are holding a delicious 3-course dinner at Kaptans Restaurant in Hotel Pension Grimus, on 11th July from 6:30pm, in support of the Multiclass Sports Association. Proceeds will provide critical funds to enable the Multiclass Sports Association to continue providing people with disability who love snowsports, the opportunity for continued development, competition and social connection.
