Sonia is a socially engaged craft maker. Drawing on her Greek cultural heritage of migrant artisans, her projects activate public spaces with participatory workshops and installations as a form of craftivism.

Her text based banners, flags and signs examine socio- economic data and challenge perspectives on gender, class and cultural representations in urban environments.
