SPEAK, (a Supportive Place for Empowering Asian Americans and Kin) is the first and only mental health organization tailored to the Asian American community in Westchester, New York.
SPEAK's work covers three areas: Education (Speak Up), Research (Speak Out), and Services (Speak Now).
S.P.E.A.K. was founded by Clinical Psychologist Teresa Hsu, PhD (she/hers), a second-generation Taiwanese/Chinese-American and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Hsu has almost 20 years of clinical experience, 7 years of leadership experience, and 9 years’ experience dedicated to program development, evaluation, and implementation.
