St Clair Kindergarten is a community-owned, teacher-led, and not-for-profit kindy, proudly part of Dunedin Kindergartens—one of Aotearoa’s longest-running registered charities. We offer up to 30 hours of free early childhood education each week for tamariki aged 2–6*, delivered by fully qualified teachers.
For over 135 years, we’ve built strong partnerships between whānau and kaiako. This close connection—and the shared fundraising mahi that comes with it—helps us create a learning environment that truly reflects the needs of our local tamariki.
*Conditions apply: Two-year-olds are free with a WINZ subsidy, otherwise a nominal fee of $2.75 per hour applies.
