St Edmund’s College is a Catholic Day School for young men from Years 7 to 12, founded by the Christian Brothers. St Edmund’s was founded in 1892. St Edmund’s is one of the foundation members of the AIC (Associated Independent Colleges).
Our College has a long and rich history that spans over 130 years in the tradition of the Christian Brothers and their founder, Blessed Edmund Rice. Today the College is governed by Edmund Rice Education Australia.
Our College motto Possunt Quia Posse Videntur, or ‘They can because they see they can’. The motto acknowledges that it is the primary role of the College to instil in its students the self-belief that they have the capacity to achieve their goals in life.
