Hi, I'm Steff (they/them). I'm a transgender pastor, speaker, writer, and friend.
Gender Expansive Faith is the name of my book, as well as the global online community for people expanding their understandings of gender and faith.
As of 2025, I’ve co-founded an a ffirming church in Sydney Australia; been featured on national TV, radio and press; worked in social justice and LGBTIQA+ mental health, graduated as valedictorian with a Masters of Divinity, and published a book, Gender Expansive Fatih.
My work is to flip the well-meaning, but harmful, script on gender through historical and biblical analysis, modern human storytellling, and compassionate guidance.
My mission is to build a more inclusive Christian faith by 2035, by helping everyday people of faith to better understand and support queer and transgender people.
