Stellina is a licensed Groove facilitator with The World Groove Movement and the founder of Groove with Stellina, Dancers in the Dark and Dance.Play.Move. She has been facilitating classes for a decade and is passionate about helping people reconnect with joy, movement and themselves through music.
Stellina has simply always loved moving to music. Whether dancing in the kitchen while cooking, being one of the first onto a dance floor or finding moments of freedom and expression through movement, music has always been part of her life.
When she discovered Groove in Sydney in 2013, it immediately felt like coming home. For the first time, she found a movement practice that celebrated individuality rather than perfection: a place where people weren't expected to copy a teacher, perform or get the steps right. Instead, they were encouraged to move in a way that felt natural, authentic and joyful in their own bodies.
In 2017, Stellina became a licensed GROOVE Facilitator through The World Groove Movement, founded by Misty Tripoli, creator of Body Groove. Since then, she has facilitated more than 200 in-person Groove classes across Sydney and the Sunshine Coast, as well as hundreds of live online sessions, helping people of all ages and abilities discover the freedom that comes from moving their own way.
What Stellina loves most isn't teaching dance, it’s creating welcoming spaces where people feel comfortable, accepted and free to be themselves. New participants arrive thinking they're coming for movement and music, but what often surprises them is the sense of connection, confidence and community they find along the way. Her classes are warm, inclusive, uplifting and completely judgment-free.
No dance experience needed, just a willingness to show up, have fun and find your groove.
There is no right way to Groove. Only your way.
