With more than 35 years cooking in some of the world's most revered restaurants, 'Harrys on Buderim' Chef and Owner, Stuart Bell, brings to the table more than just a love of good food.
Time spent honing his craft with renowned Chef's Philippe Mouchel at 'Paul Bocuse Restaurant' and Jacques Reymond, and at the beautiful 'The Windsor Hotel' in Melbourne, led to opportunities to work in Michelin Starred restaurants 'Thornton's' in Ireland and 'The Ledbury' in Notting Hill and offered Stuart the chance to work and learn with some of the best.
Returning home to Australia, Stuart took the helm at 'Ten Minutes by Tractor Restaurant & Winery' on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Under his leadership, Stuart raised the profile of the restaurant through achieving Two 'Chef's Hats' awarded by 'The Age Good Food Guide', which he retained for 6 years.
In 2018, Stuart relocated to the Sunshine Coast to take over 'Harry's on Buderim', the old Queenslander poignantly reminding him of previous restaurants he had worked in which were also set in old houses and a historical part of the local landscape.
Stuart is driven by his determination to highlight local produce as much as possible, be it from local farmers or suppliers, and with the abundance available on the Sunshine Coast, the choices are limitless.
From Harry's kitchen, Stuart creates seasonal menus and monthly degustation events.
Stuart and Restaurant Manager, Peter and the team at Harry's look forward to welcoming you.
