Psychologist
Retreat Facilitator
Director of Life Unlimited Psychology
With more than 25 years' experience in psychology, wellbeing and burnout recovery, Sue is passionate about helping women understand the connection between their mind, body, nervous system and hormones.
Drawing on evidence-based psychology, neuroscience, trauma-informed practice and body-based approaches to wellbeing, Sue helps women better understand the physical, emotional and cognitive impacts of chronic stress, burnout, perimenopause and hormonal change. Her work focuses on making sense of what the body is communicating and developing practical, sustainable strategies that support recovery, resilience and long-term wellbeing.
Sue's approach is also shaped by her background as an elite athlete, including representing Australia as goalkeeper for the Matildas and competing nationally and internationally in athletics and weightlifting. Her experience in both high performance and recovery has given her a deep appreciation for the body's innate capacity to heal when provided with the right support, rest and understanding.
Through a warm, practical and down-to-earth style, Sue empowers women to work with their bodies rather than against them. Throughout the retreat, she will guide participants through discussions, workshops and experiential practices exploring nervous system regulation, stress physiology, emotional wellbeing, sleep, energy management, recovery, and the often-overlooked relationship between hormones and mental health.
Sue believes that understanding the science is important, but experiencing it is where real change happens. Her goal is for every woman to leave feeling more informed, more connected to her body, and equipped with practical tools to support her wellbeing long after the retreat ends.
